Core Beliefs

Liberty Community Church Core Beliefs

We love Jesus, who always has been and always will be God.  He took on human flesh and was born in Bethlehem. He lived a perfect life and was sinless.  He died on the cross to pay for the sin of the world.  He died for us so we would not have to remain separated from the Holy God.  He rose again on the third day and now is sitting at the right hand of God the Father.  He will return again one day to reign upon the Earth.  Because He lives, all who believe in Him will also be resurrected to live eternally with Him in glory.

The Bible

We love the Bible and hold it to be the Word of God.  We believe it is true and is our authority for life and faith.  Each one of us are responsible unto the Lord to interpret God's Word as He leads us and our conscience dictates.

The Holy Spirit

We love the Holy Spirit who is our Counselor, Comforter and Friend.  He convicts us of our sin and convinces us about the truthfulness of Jesus.  If we confess our sin and ask Him to fill our lives, then He gives us the desire and power to live the Christ life.  He gives us spiritual gifts to be fruitful and fulfilled by serving the body of Christ.
